1. Place it. Put the bag on the dashboard. Door pockets, the rear shelf or under the seats work too.
2. Leave it. It works while the car is parked, overnight and during the day. No plug, no setup.
3. Check the indicator. Blue means it is dry and absorbing. When the window turns pink, it is saturated and needs a recharge.
Tip: for a larger cabin, a van or a car that gets very damp (wet shoes, dog, snow on the mats), use two or more bags, one on the dashboard and one in the back.
When the indicator turns pink, wrap the bag in a paper towel and warm it in the microwave for about 6 minutes at 600 W. Let it cool, and when the indicator is blue again it is ready to go back in the car.
No microwave? Leave it on a radiator for 1–2 days, or in a warm oven on the lowest setting with the door ajar. Repeat as often as needed: one bag lasts for years.
