No. FrostNix works on the inside of the car only. It does not melt outside ice, remove snow or heat the car.

Anywhere in the car: on the dashboard, in a door pocket, on or under a seat, or in the trunk. For clear windows, the dashboard works best because the bag sits right under the windshield. For damp mats or a musty smell, put a second bag in the back or in the trunk. Leave it in place while the car is parked; that is when it does its work.
The indicator beads change colour: blue means dry and working, pink means it is time to recharge.
Warm it in the microwave or leave it on a radiator until the indicator turns blue again, then put it back on the dashboard. Follow the recharge instructions included in the box.
One bag on the dashboard is enough to keep all the windows clear. If you also want dry floor mats and a dry trunk, we recommend two bags: one on the dashboard and one in the back seat area or in the trunk.
